2. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE BREED OF DOG TO TRAIN TO AN ELECTRONIC DOG FENCE CONTAINMENT SYSTEM, AND WHY?

The last dog I trained is my favourite, until the next one!  I suppose that I get the most enjoyment from a bold Boxer charging at the boundary but coming to a skidding halt and trotting off with “I know what I’m doing” expression.

3. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE HIDDEN FENCE DOG CONTAINMENT SYSTEM TO USE IN THE FIELD, AND WHY?

The PT4 because of the options it provides.

4. DO YOU HAVE A GOOD STORY TO SHARE ABOUT CONTAINING A CUSTOMERS PET?

The cleverest dog is Jean-Paul a large Poodle contained at the owners business premises which comprise an Artist’s Studio, an Art Gallery, an up market Audi equipment showroom complete with sound studios and a Cafe! The dog has the run of the whole building, except the cafe; but there is no physical barrier between the cafe and the rest of the businesses.  It took less than ten minutes to teach Jean-Paul where the boundaries are and that he has to use the back entrance, not the front door.  The patrons are continually amazed.

5. WHAT’S THE HARDEST INSTALL YOU”VE ENCOUNTERED?

2.5 Ha of subdivided rough rural land on the side of a hill with barbed wire fences overgrown with old Barbary hedges and not one centimetre could be done by machine.  Also a stream/drain at the bottom.  Did I mention the landscaped gardens, rock walls and steep concrete driveway?  And it was winter,

All for a 14 week old (at the time) Beagle.  The owners have since taken on another beagle and have a collar for him.
